Morse Code:
The principal methods used for the transmission of Morse Code are Sound, Flashing Light, Telegraphy and Line Telegraphy. The symbols of the Morse Code are expressed by an arrangement of 'dots and dashes'. A 'dot' is used as the unit of duration. A 'dash' is equal to three units (or dots). The space between each 'dot' or 'dash' is one unit; but between special characters three units; and between words seven units. Try the 'Morse Code Translator' at the bottom of the page.
